Tiger Airways / SEAIR to launch Manila Clark - Hong Kong Flights; Promo Fares from US$ 35

Take a look at this news about Tiger and SEAIR's partnership.  Read on:

Tiger Airways and South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) are expanding their “Partner Airline” programme with new daily flights between Manila Clark and Hong Kong scheduled to start on 14 March 2011.

Just like SEAIR’s existing twice-daily flights between Clark and Singapore, the new route will offer special fares to tourists, business travellers and Filipinos working abroad on the important link between the Philippines and China.

SEAIR and Tiger Airways launched their Partner Airline programme in November 2010, with flights on the Manila Clark-Singapore route. A few weeks later on 17 December 2010, the inaugural SEAIR flight took off with a full load of passengers.

Avelino Zapanta, SEAIR’s President and CEO, said, “We look forward to serving travellers between Hong Kong and the Philippines with our ultra low fares. This has been possible because, like Tiger Airways, we are disciplined in eliminating unnecessary costs. In addition, using the Philippines as our base gives us further cost savings which we pass on to our customers. With our new Hong Kong services and additional routes to be announced later, we are excited to contribute even more to our country’s employment, tourism industry and national economy.”

Tony Davis, President & Group CEO of Tiger Airways, said, “We are delighted to be expanding our Partner Airline programme with SEAir. Tiger Airways has established a strong marketing presence in both Hong Kong and the Philippines which will ensure strong sales for these new services from SEAir. As we continue to grow this programme with more routes and services we look forward to achieving greater economies of scale which means even lower fares for all travellers.”

Approvals from both the Philippines and Hong Kong authorities have already been obtained by SEAIR to operate services between Manila Clark and Hong Kong.

Seats are on sale now at a special introductory fare of US$ 35 / PHP 1500 / HK$ 270 (one way, including taxes), for travel between 14 March and 31 May 2011.
