Another PAL seat sale!!!
MANILA, Philippines—Philippine Airlines is holding a "one day only" seat sale on June 4 for Tagbilaran, one of the selected destinations for the flag carrier's Independence Day promotions, the Lucio Tan-led company said in a statement.
Tagbilaran is the hometown of Francisco Dagohoy, who led the country's longest revolt against the Spaniards.
The P612 one-way, economy fare from Manila to Tagbilaran and from Tagbilaran to Manila is available only on June 4 at all PAL ticket offices, PAL web site and accredited travel agents.
The all-in fare is inclusive of VAT but excludes government taxes and ticketing service fee.
Travel period is from June 5 to September 30. Seats are limited.
Dagohoy is a Boholano who led a revolt against the Spaniards from 1744 to 1829. The immediate cause of the revolt was the refusal of a Jesuit priest to give Dagohoy's brother a Christian burial. It took 85 years for the Spaniards to suppress the rebellion.
PAL is offering 2 promos in the days leading up to June 12: "Proud and Free" for international routes and "Fly the Flag" for local destinations.
On June 1, PAL featured Cebu for its one-day-only seat sale.
The P612 one-way, economy fare for Manila to Cebu or Cebu to Manila was made available for the travel period June 2 to September 30.
Cebu was the home of Filipino chieftain Lapu-Lapu, who fought and killed Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan on Mactan island in 1521.
